The sheer craze of K-Drama and K-POP is more prevalent among Malaysian girls than it ever was. Who can blame them? South Koreans are one of the most beautiful and talented group of humans to ever grace planet earth.
It’s only natural to be attracted to these men with their flawless skin and perfectly synchronized dance moves. Some of these South Korean heartthrobs are revered more than the countless others.
1. V (Kim Tae-hyung) – Singer
On June 13, 2013, V made his debut as a member of BTS on Mnet’s M Countdown with the track “No More Dream” from their debut single album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. V was first credited for music composition in The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1 when he co-wrote and co-produced the song “Hold Me Tight”.
2. Oh Se-hun – Entertainer
Sehun was first scouted by an S.M. Entertainment casting agent at 12 years old while he was out having lunch with friends. While at first running away from the agent for 30 minutes and being chased down the streets, he was eventually cast into S.M. Entertainment in 2008. Sehun became the fifth Exo member to be officially introduced to the public. The group made their debut with the extended play Mama in April 2012.
3. Jeon Jungkook – Musical Artist
Jeon Jeongguk is also known by his stage name Jungkook or Golden Maknae (due to his exceptional number of talents). He is the youngest member of the band, currently 20 years old in international age. He serves as the main vocalist, lead dancer, and rapper support. Jungkook is part of the Maknae Line, Dance Line and Vocal Line.
4 .Taeyang – Singer
Dong Young-bae, better known by his stage name Taeyang (meaning sun in Korean) and SOL (when performing in Japan), is a South Korean singer. After appearing in Jinusean’s music video “A-yo,” Taeyang began training under YG Entertainment at the age of 12. Six years later, he made his debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang. While the quintet’s debut was met with lukewarm receptions, their follow-ups cemented their popularity, becoming one of the best-selling digital group of all-time in Asia and one of the best-selling boy bands in the world.
5. Kai – Entertainer
Kai was born on January 14, 1994, in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. He began dancing when he was eight years old. He originally did jazz dance, but after watching The Nutcracker he began to train in ballet while in the third grade. He stated that his parents initially wanted him to learn Taekwondo and the piano. He began training in hip-hop after joining S.M. Entertainment.
6. Nam Joo-hyuk – Model
Nam debuted in 2013 as a model for the SONGZIO Homme Spring/Summer 2014 collection. In 2014, he appeared in the music videos of fellow YG Entertainment artist Akdong Musician, and made his acting debut with a supporting role in the tvN drama The Idle Mermaid.
7. Choi Si-won – Singer-songwriter
Choi Si-won is a South Korean singer, songwriter, model, and actor. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Super Junior and its Mandopop subgroup, Super Junior-M.
Aside from being a member of Super Junior, Choi has also ventured into solo activities, mainly acting. He played lead roles in the Korean dramas Oh! My Lady (2010) and Poseidon (2011), and had supporting roles in Athena: Goddess of War (2010), The King of Dramas (2012) and She Was Pretty (2015). Choi has also participated in various Chinese language films such as Helios, To the Fore and Dragon Blade.
8. MinGyu – Rapper
Mingyu is a South Korean singer and dancer. He is one of the members of the popular K-pop group SEVENTEEN.
9. Tae-yong – Singer/Rapper
Taeyong is a South Korean rapper under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group NCT and its sub-units NCT U and NCT 127.
10. Won Woo- Rapper
He started off as a singer and was told he had a good voice for rapping. Since then, he looked into the Hip Hop scene and got noticed as a rapper and became a part of the Hip Hop team.
