On Sunday at 2am, officers and personnel from the crime and narcotic divisions of the Wangsa Maju District Police Headquarters, conducted a raid in an entertainment center at Metro Pudu, Kuala Lumpur during a Chinese New Year party.
Which then resulted in the arrest of 115 individuals after being tested positive for drug abuse.
The test was performed on all 314 attendees, and out of that 115 individuals tested positive. This includes 29 women ranging from the age of 20 to 30 years old.
A 27-year-old woman, believed to be the party planner, was also arrested alongside a man who had a tattoo on his shoulder that represents an underground syndicate.
Wangsa Maju Deputy Chief of Police, Superintendent Muhammad Najib Hamzah told an investigation is taking place to find out whether both of them are responsible for the drug activity at that party.
Those who were arrested will be remanded for 3 days from 3rd of February till the 6th while the 27-year-old party planner was released under police bail.
