All this began when a car was pulled over by police officers, believed to be driven by two foreigners, said Dang Wangi District Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shaharuddin Abdullah.

They then discovered tools believed to be used for breaking and entering houses on them.

“One of the suspect then tried to escape on foot and was chased by an officer before being arrested in Jalan Tun Razak.”

The suspect hurt his leg and was sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur(HKL). The injured police officer was also sent to the same hospital for treatment.

He also added that investigation will take place for the offense of causing injury to a police officer, and the suspect’s partner was also arrested for further investigation.
