Maria Chin Abdullah’s son, 26, was stabbed in the stomach yesterday around 6pm when he was out for a jog at Taman Bukit Mayang Emas.
He’s currently under treatment at Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM) and was reported stable.
The Petaling Jaya MP told in a Whatsapp group that the surgery was a success and her son is out of danger.
Petaling Jaya Deputy Chief of Police, Superintendent Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said, for now the victim has not given his testimony since he’s still under treatment.
“None of the victim’s belongings were taken and we’ve not ruled out the incident as an attempted robbery.”
