After last week’s fiasco of politicians getting called out for their dubious degree, Former prime minster Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was not left out.
There were rumours of him getting a fake degree from Nottingham University in Britain.
During Najib’s Court of Appeal, a member of the press ran after Najib to ask him about his academic qualifications.
“Of course, my degree is legitimate,” Najib said with a shrug.
DAP’s Keranji assemblyman Chong Zhemin had said that MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong should question Najib about his degree as part of his checks on Pakatan Harapan leaders’ qualifications.h
Chong said in a video circulating online alleging that Najib never completed his studies at the university in the 1970s.
He challenged Najib to publish the transcripts of his examination and a copy of his degree.
Najib then cheekily changed his Facebook’s profile picture him wearing a graduation gown.
He also posted in his Facebook confirming that he does have a real degree and the government should stop accusing him without any prove.
