It’s been one of the most talked topics of this year so far. The smoking ban has finally taken at eateries throughout Malaysia since the beginning of this year. There are still many stubborn Malaysians who are ignoring this ban

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has officers doing inspections throughout the country, they are also seeking assistance from the public to further increase the effectiveness of the ban. You can now make a direct complaint to the MoH via Whatsapp.

Based on the guidelines released by MoH, if you want to report an individual, you must first include the name and address of the restaurant as well as the date and time the offense took place. You must also include a picture of the smoker while he/she is smoking within the restaurant.

You can also report eateries that did not put up any ”No Smoking” signs at their premise via the same Whatsapp number.
